Leam was a wonderful host! He's made our experience flawless! The treehouse was the perfect beginning to our first trip in Colorado. We will be returning! We really enjoyed our short stay in the Little Red Treehouse to celebrate a birthday! Leam made us feel welcome and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities in and around Lyons. Perfect place and perfect host! We had a great time! The treehouse has great attention to detail and we found it very comfortable.
Leam was gracious and welcoming. Leam's treehouse was exquisite! My only complaint was that our stay was too short! My boyfriend and I found our stay to be extremely comfortable, clean, and cozy.
Leam thought of every detail. Organic coffee for the morning, binoculars for the spectacular views, he even brought us a little space heater to make our chilly evening a bit more tolerable.
The Little Red Treehouse is an experience you won't forget. Also--it's a very short walk into town. Lyons is worth exploring. This place is tiny living perfection!
As soon as we arrived Leam welcomed us with his calm, charming demeanor. He was full of recommendations for food, which we appreciated very much. Staying here is truly something special, and worth every penny.
I'd stay here over a 5-star hotel any day. We stayed in this tree house for our 5th year anniversary and we truly did have a good time. The Murphy's bed is very comfortable and the view you wake up to is amazing. So many details were thought out in this tree house and Leam was very accommodating.
I would recommend a stay here to Anyone. However, if you are wanting privacy, I would ask if there is an event going on at the venue that is just up the road. What a great retreat! My husband and I spent our anniversary here and we were able to relax, unwind and enjoy time to ourselves without kids.
The hosts were more than accommodating and provided a clean, hip spot both inside and out. We would absolutely return to this beautifully crafted treehouse and excited to see how this quaint retreat has evolved.
Communication was prompt, Jani was extremely accommodating. The photos do not do the setting justice - the vista, the morning sun, the quiet. The bunkhouse was appointed in a charming vintage western motif. We all feel in love with the cow dog, the cat and all the hummingbirds.
A wonderful spot to make some memories. Jani was a fantastic hostess! The bunkhouse was in a beautiful and serene location which helped us to relax after hiking in Estes Park. It was great to be surrounded by wilderness while also having access to the internet so we could stay in touch with the outside world.
The bunkhouse was so much more than we expected. We hope to come back again. The bunkhouse had everything we needed. We picked it for it's close location to Rocky Mountain National Park, but honestly, we enjoyed just being at the bunkhouse and watching the views from the porch. The house animals were adorable and my son had a blast playing with them.
They even "kept us safe" from the big elk that wandered into the yard. There was a large music collection of CDs and tapes and it was fun to pick randomly and play music while on the porch. We played lots of board games and cooked all our meals in the kitchen which had everything we needed. I can't say enough about how amazing an experience it was for our family. Jani and Zeke have a lovely, lovely space that is just perfect for all travelers. The place is awesome.
Very nice location, very nice and clean house. If you want a quite and relaxing vacation this house is a must. Its secluded and just what we were looking for our weekend getaway!
Beautiful property and beautiful bunkhouse. Had everything we needed for cooking and hanging out as well! This place is amazing! I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to be in nature. Jani was so kind- directions she provided were perfect- house was incredibly clean and honestly it was a weekend I will never forget in an unbelievable place! The Bunkhouse was more than what we had hoped! Warm friendly hosts, clean and very nice. All we could have needed and more. The location is perfect for going up to RMNP.
We loved the quiet!! Perfect place to rest and relax!! The location is ideal for people wanting to relax but close enough to visit boulder and Denver!
The beds were so cozy and comfortable! The view alone is worth this stay, but the place was very cozy. Definitely studio style where you're all together, but plenty of seating space for a group, adorable neighborhood and patio, and a fun downtown right down the road! Erin even checked in making sure we were happy and asked if we needed anything while we were there.
This is a nice place with a great view. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable. We were worn out after exploring all day and it was a great landing spot. I would definitely stay here again.
This place has an amazing view! Very clean and easy to get to. If you want a great retreat from the world without going too far into the mountains, look no further. I absolutely loved this place! The views are incredible and Erin is very hospitable and responsive.
Great location, very nice to have the private entrance, and lots of great tips from Erin as well. I live close, so I"ll be back! Erin is a generous and gracious host!
This spot has a lot of style inside and amazing views outside. I highly recommend this place. We loved our stay here. The location is amazing. Our apartment opened up to the hilltop view of the whole town of Lyons. It's the best way to wake up every morning and to say goodbye to the day in the evening.
There is a beautiful garden and so many amazing scents from the flowers and herbs. We saw hummingbirds and hummingbird moths and bumblebees and butterflies in the garden.
When sitting in the comfy chairs, looking down the hill, we'd see rabbits and other wildlife running around below. They have six chickens and offered us fresh eggs for a couple of our breakfasts there. That was a delicious bonus. There is a trailhead for a small hike down the hill just steps from the house. And another short walk gets you right into the charming town of Lyons. It was an ideal location for us. Erin was so helpful with all our questions before arriving, and continued to answer any questions or offer assistance with anything once we were there.
Her children greeted us a couple of times and gave us tours of the garden or also answered questions about the location. The whole family was delightful.
There is a nice place that had picnic tables to hang around on and visit. Thought it was kind Property and facilities were very nice; however lack of detailed directions made finding property by address took an inordinate amount of time hour Cabin, rustic, was fine till time for bed. We were totally surprised by not only the price of the room but the room itself and the surroundings.
The room was huge and very very clean, almost spotless. Behind the lodge itself is a trail you can follow and it's a must to star gaze Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! We are new owners and work hard to provide our guests a memorable experience.

We were caught in traffic and arrived after dark - she was there to help us find the trailer and show us where the bathroom was in the main cabin. Her flexibility with our late arrival was much appreciated. The description of the property is accurate - it is a rustic camper with the basics.
There is no running water in the camper, but drinking water is provided. The camper is next to a running creek and the grounds are lovely with a large open lawn. Jill's trailer was great! Super cozy, and just what we were looking for. Plus, she had some kittens running around her property that came in and played with us. This was optional, of course, but we left the door open and invited them in! Jill and her family are so lovely and welcomed us at the last minute.
The space and surrounding property are so much fun. Jill and her family are incredibly friendly and generous, and the camper is cozy and clean. She even turned on a couple space heaters before I arrived to make sure it was warm enough on a windy night. I loved staying here, and I'd definitely return. We had a great stay at this little trailer. The creek next to the trailer is a nice touch. Will recommend this location and hopefully return! We were not able to make it to this cute trailer.
I would like to be reimbursed if possible. Debra is laid back and accommodating. She was a great host and we loved the view and the gardens around her place. Debra's place was beautiful. The view of the mountains was outstanding. She opens her home up to you. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Wonderful house with a wonderful host. I felt at home immediately and wished I could have stayed more than one night!
Splendid spot, great views, great host, would certainly go back! Perfect place for a basecamp to explore the nearby mountains and forests. Gorgeous house, friendly host! The tour of the house is beautiful! Close to rocky mountains and breweries! We had a good stay in a great location in Lyons. Great location so close to downtown, we were able to walk to dinner and breakfast and a beautiful park near by definitely a worth while stop.
Great location- clean, comfortable, functional. Nice to have washer dryer on site. Never met hosts, but communication was fine. We had a great stay in Lyons and Enion's apartment made everything we'd planned very easy and convenient.
Perfect location and a very comfortable, cosy and clean place to stay for 6 nights. Our hosts were welcoming and really helpful, and when we had a problem with the shower one day they had it fixed right away. Would definitely stay at Enion's again and highly recommended: Enion is a wonderful hostess and very attentive to any concerns.
It is nice to have a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facility for a longer stay. I would not suggest the apartment for anyone significantly older or with mobility issues. The space worked well for two adults and two teen children. Utilized the kitchen to cook two evening meals and unwound after hiking at RMNP. Having laundry machines was very handy. Enion did a great job communicating with me before my arrival. The place is very clean, feels private, and really cozy.
She even left coffee, creamer, OJ, granola, and some fruit for us! Lyons is small and everything is walkable from this location. Great place to stay-Thanks Enion!! However, it affords neither the cleanliness nor the sanitation any reasonable person would expect.
We booked seven nights with Sally at the end of a three week trip to Colorado expecting to enjoy hiking, biking and exploration of the eastern side of Rocky Mountain National Park. Things begin to go wrong immediately, and let me preface this that we are easy-going, outdoorsy, hiking, backpacking type of folks who are not readily put off.
The temperatures were in the 90s and the porta-potty outhouse that they provide as an alternative pumped out once a week begin to stink after a couple of days due to the heat. However, toileting was not the most serious problem. Within an hour of our arrival we discovered the corner of the unit where we had placed our luggage and personal items was infested with earwigs.
We killed about 75 of them the first night, and Sally brought over some spray poison for us to use. You could not get out of bed without having to watch where you were stepping.
Until these issues of toileting and bug infestation are addressed this is not a viable rental for any reasonable person. We wish we could have stayed longer because it was just so comfortable there.
It was fairly cool during our stay, and the cottage was so cozy inside making it hard to get going in the morning. I would highly recommend this place. I picked the Mumford because I was attending a wedding in the area and wanted a dog friendly place to stay.
I ended up communicating back and forth with Sally several times before we arrived, because I have some weird allergies. She was spectacularly responsive. Quick to get back to me and very considerate. The cabin IS rustic, but I thought it was charming. Having windows on all sides and your own little fenced yard? The incinerating toilet was interesting.
It DOES create a little not unpleasant smelling smoke. Kind of like wood smoke, only not. It wasn't til my last night that it occurred to me that there was a great vent fan right beside the toilet that would have cleared any lingering smoke.
The location of the cabin is fabulous. I simply loved walking my dog down the dead end dirt road. No traffic, beautiful and interesting scenery. There were even Llamas down the way! We had a wonderful time staying there. Sally was an absolute treat. I wanted to stay and be her BFF forever. Charming cabin, bright and comfortable with a yard for the dogs. Sally was very helpful-there when I had questions without intruding. Very quiet and relaxing. If I am back in the area I will definitely rent it again.
Really interesting place to stay. Great place to unwind and be out in nature. Host was responsive and helpful. This is a great space in the perfect location to jump off into RNP, check out the MTB trails explore the surrounding area: Lyons, Boulder, Longmont, etc. Sally's communication was very prompt.
We would love to stay here again. A very nice and bright place to stay. A home away from home. Great restaurants within walking distance. A wonderful hiking trail just a few short blocks away from Jessie's place that allows beautiful scenery and solitude. This place was fabulous, and Jessie is a wonderful host! We were wanting to explore the Rockies, and we couldn't have found a better location.
It was close enough to the national park for day hikes, but far enough away from the overwhelming crowds of tourists. The residence was sparkling clean, and we enjoyed delicious fresh coffee and English muffins for breakfast that she provided. Jessie is thoughtful and friendly, and the wildflower garden surrounding the house added lovely color to its charm. I highly recommend Honeysuckle Hideaway!!
We actually needed a place in Estes Park but everything was full for Labor Day. As it turned out, we loved being here—a bit removed from all the craziness of Estes Park and super clean and comfy. Jessie and her family are great hosts and made us feel very much at home.
Would recommend this to any traveler who needs a nice home away from home. Our stay at Jesse's couldn't have been better, it was very spacious with nice furnishings and was well equipped as well. We really appreciated the little extras she provided such as coffee and English muffins.
I hope to stay there again sometime. An enjoyable stay after a long day of hiking. Not as loud I as expected, given this is a basement.
Very clean, spacious and relaxing. Had a great experience staying here. The place was clean, well stocked in both the bathroom and kitchen, and pretty spacious.
Would highly recommend staying here as a cheaper alternative to staying right in Estes Park. Rocky Mountain National Park was our primary destination while staying here and we usually left between 5: The parking lot there fills up by 7: We would definitely stay here again!
We had such a lovely stay here! The apartment is spacious, bright, and welcoming. Jessie was so hospitable to us and there are many thoughtful touches throughout the apartment. I would highly recommend Jessie's place! This lovely apartment was nestled in between Boulder and the Rockies.
This made it easy to travel to the city and see all the sights that the area had to offer. We enjoyed the cozy clean space which had a wonderful breeze flowing through it. The bathroom was amazing! We had a home away from home experience and it was fabulous.
Please whatever you do book this place now!! Hannah's place was incredible. She was very communicative before we arrived, making sure we were able to find the location and how to get in. She was very accommodating since I had to pick my girlfriend up from the airport so we didn't arrive until later in the afternoon. We were greeted with a very clean space and some Palisade Peaches. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, and there was a nice printout with Hannah's recommendations for things to do around town including food and hikes.
The town of Lyons had quite a few activities to keep us busy during the weekend. Hannah was very quick to respond to any of our questions, however she gave us space as well. Overall it was a great experience and I would do it again. Hannah was very kinda and fun to chat with! Her home was so perfect for our stay and the location was beautiful. Hannah was so thoughtful and flexible. Check in and check out was so convenient. Wonderful directions and suggestions of what to do in the area.
Great location, beautiful views. I would plan another trip just to be able to stay at the ranch a little longer. Her farm and the surrounding area is beautiful. I really enjoyed interacting with the farm animals as well. Great place to relax and watch the stars.
Animals are so great to see. Liz was very nice and made us feel very at home. Liz is an excellent hostess! Her place is beautifully situated near the Rocky Mtns with awesome views and a short driving distance to the national park. It's also super convenient to town should you need to make any purchases. It's cozy and quiet and full of a variety of animal life! I highly recommend Liz's place to anyone traveling through the area or looking for some quiet R and R.
It was a great place! Liz was friendly, and her house was clean and as described. The view around sunset is breathtaking. Had a great trip. The location is ideal and a great place to unwind. Liz was very hospitable and friendly. Had a great experience no issues or problems at all. Would definitely recommend this place. Joan is a lovely host with a great hospitality. Everything went how we hoped for and we enjoyed staying in Lyons.
Very clean and quiet room with private bathroom. Would certainly recommend a stay with Joan. Joan's concise directions made it easy to find her place, and her dining recommendations were spot on! She even had a shelf cleared for us in the fridge. Joan was a terrific host and the accommodations were great all around. Highly recommended for any visits to RMNP.
We appreciated the privacy of our stay and the overall good time with our host. Indeed if we are to stay in the area again we will give her a call. Joan was a wonderful Hostess. Her house is in a quiet friendly neighborhood. The house is bright, sunny and very clean. Our room was downstairs, comfortable and very private. We had our own bathroom next to our bedroom. We visited the newly opened riverfront park in Lyons which was recently renovated after the flood.
Lyons has a wonderful small town feel. It is conveniently located as a quick get away from Denver. We took the back route through Black Hawk and Central City and Nederland and we had gorgeous scenery with the aspens changing along the way. Joan made us feel very welcome in her home. She had bagels and cream cheese and coffee or tea available for breakfast. We sat on her deck in the backyard and enjoyed the afternoon sun.
You will love staying at Joan's Airbnb. Joan was there to greet us upon arrival and give us a quick run down about amenities. We were comfortable for the entire stay. The house is clean and cozy. We particularly enjoyed having our lunch on the shaded patio. Joan was an amazing host! Her home was very nice and had everything we needed to feel comfortable at like we were at a home away from home.
The basement is very private and has everything you could need. We sincerely enjoyed our time there. It was very relaxing and had everything you could think of! Beautiful and homey space and the bed was so comfortable. Would definitely stay again is we made it back to the area! If you are looking to get away to a place where you will be able to relax, unwind, and be spoiled Sally and her wonderful husband are so kind and a joy to be around!!
Kevin and I highly recommend this bnb!! We can't wait for another opportunity to stay here! More than just a room you get to stay in your own private area. The room is really cute and the bathroom looks like it was just renovated. Sally provides you with everything you'll need, from towels to a blow dryer to a teapot! The house is very close to the main area of Lyons where you can find some good restaurants. Sally's place was great.
The guest space is comfortable, offers a lot of privacy, and is very nicely decorated. Check-in was very easy and Sally was very responsive and helpful. The rooms were so stylish. You can definitely see the artistic flair that Sally has. Coffee maker in the room and fridge accommodated all of our on the road foods.
Bathroom was more than enough-great shower. The backyard was peaceful and beautiful. Perfect place for our dog and early morning coffee.
Nick and Sally were thoroughly nice people and I enjoyed our conversation. A little piece of heaven just outside of Lyons, Colorado! Sally is a very conscientious and chilled host, with a lovely home in a gorgeous setting. The room is just lovely and private, with a great bed and fantastic shower and lots of natural light.
Could have stayed for a week! Next time, I believe I will;. Shannon and his family were super welcoming for us to their fantastic place! The place was clean, well setup, and provided everything we needed for a great experience.
I would definitely go back and definitely recommend the stay here! The hideaway was a very peaceful place, with very thoughtful touches that go that extra step towards comfort.
It was also very clean. Excellent communication from the time of booking to check out! This place is an absolute gem and I would recommend it to anyone looking for lodging in this area.
This is a great place on the bank a small river just outside of Lyons. It's a very comfortable, large self contained space on the lower level of Shannon's house. Perfect launching pad for day trips to the mountains. I'd stay there again. This was an amazing stay, Airbnb done right! Perfect location and accommodations for the hiking that we had planned, truly a peaceful and enjoyable stay with easy communication and a great taste of the Rocky Mountains.
Shannon and his wife were very quick to respond to our needs and questions about our stay. Zero disturbances and we recommend for others to enjoy some time here!
Shannon's place is in a lovely location between Boulder and Estes Park. We enjoyed spending time at both cities along with time in Rocky Mountain Park. The location really cannot be beat. The house was clean with comfy beds and cold waters and beers waiting for us in the fridge.
We enjoyed getting a little pup time in after our hikes and relaxing on the patio listening to the river. Great place to feel off the grid while still being close to many great activities and SO much beauty. Can't wait to visit again! Dan and Kathy's place is in a fabulous location in the cute little town of Lyons. We loved where it was and everything around it - super quick to get to RMNP and Lyons has lots to offer. Property is overall nice, just needs some repairs here and there.
This place is in the perfect location. Within walking distance to everything you need, coffee shops, parks, food, etc. Dan and Kathy couldn't have been better hosts. Their response to questions was a within minutes and they accommodated all of our needs. Lyons is a great location and close to so many main attractions as well.
Very helpful hosts and beautiful home. Was a great stay and fair price and would recommend for anyone visiting Lyons. Lovely, just as the photos describe with all technical conveniences. Easy to access and within walking distance to Lyons Main Street area.
Walked to all wedding events rehearsal dinner Oskar Blues, wedding at River Bend. Excellent hosts from pre-stay to check-in and out. Responsive and especially accommodating! Very clean and comfortable. We unloaded and parked on the street, but it was easy. Parked about 10 feet from the driveway, plenty of spaces. Bonus points for the amenities such as the ziplock bags of different sizes. We were headed out to do some backpacking and the bags were nice.
Plenty of places to eat, we walked around the corner and had a great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. This place worked out perfectly. Right in town, clean and comfortable. Wish I could have stayed a bit longer. Tony and Lydia are wonderful hosts! Their house is in a scenic location with mountain views, and is a quick drive to breweries, restaurants, and the farmers market. Each morning we were offered fresh eggs, homemade granola, coffee, and fresh honey which Tony collects from the hives he keeps.
Their pets are wonderful the cats are especially friendly , the room is comfortable, and the bathroom is great with a nice large tub. If you're considering a stay in Longmont, this is a great spot where I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The house was a nice getaway of which I wished we had taken advantage more. In town for a wedding that was nearby with my better half. Drove to Boulder more than we would have liked, but that was our own fault.
Tony and Lydia were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed chatting with them, and getting to know them. The jacuzzi bathtub is amazing. Tony and Lydia were wonderful hosts! They made us feel so welcome, provided a delicious homemade granola breakfast and were always there to provide fantastic recommendations for where to go for a hike, beautiful view or place to eat!
They provided the perfect location for a wedding we were attending in Lyons and were in close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. We had a wonderful time on our long weekend in Colorado!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being out in the countryside was a definite plus. Peaceful and close enough to everything without being in the middle of it all.
Lydia was very helpful, providing maps and suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We would definitely return to stay, and hope we can one day! Tony and Lydia had a very inviting and comfortable home. This was our first air bnb we stayed at and there is no way it could have been any better. They had lots of tips on local attractions and restaurant suggestions.
The whirlpool tub was the best after a long day. I would recommend Tony and Lydia's place to all visitors who want the home feeling when away on vacation. We truly enjoyed our time staying with Tony and Lydia. They were both well-traveled, relaxed and friendly, with very interesting life stories to share. We felt very welcomed when we arrived! Lydia poured me a glass of wine and we all chatted a bit as our daughter relieved some pent up energy by crawling on the floor and playing with some very active kittens.
We spent most of our time in Rocky Mountain National Park but when we returned home in the evening, we were greeted warmly! Tony and Lydia's house was beautiful Our room was comfortable and the connected bathroom was beautiful. The breakfast choices were tasty. We enjoyed homemade Granola and yogurt our first morning and fresh eggs and bagels with jam the second morning.
We were also very thankful for their restaurant recommendations in Longmont. My husband and I would highly recommend staying with Tony and Lydia! This was our first experience with Airbnb.
Our accommodations exceeded our expectations! It was a wonderful place to stay and our hosts could not have been more gracious. This is a beautiful home with spectacular views. Thank you for opening your home to us. We hope to return for another visit. Valerie's place is a great quiet retreat. Very clean, cute and everything we needed for our weekend. We would come back if in the area.
We loved staying at Valerie's loft! To say it is cozy and charming is an understatement! It has a great deck to relax on in addition to the great indoor living space. It is an easy 40 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. She had a book with trail info that was helpful. What a great place right on Main Street.
Very cute and cozy and accommodated my wife and I very well! Lyons is a great town and this loft is very Lyons. This was such a charming, inviting space and Valerie is so responsive. All of Lyons easily accessible. Loved the backyard space especially. Nice kitchen, though we did not cook. Probably best for one person or a couple; I stayed with a close friend and we shared the queen sized bed which was very comfy. This was fine for us, however. All the quirks and charm of an older property!
Valerie is an amazing hostess with a beautiful home. Regretfully, our only contact was by phone, but she did everything possible to make sure this amazing vacation was as beautiful, comfortable and relaxing as possible. Stay in Lyons and enjoy this truly romantic and beautiful loft! Cool location, nicely decorated studio, great way to emerge yourself in the local community. You can either relax in Lyons or explore many close excursions. Entrance to RMNP only 25 miles away. We would definitely go back.
Liz was a wonderful host. The location is ideal for a peaceful getaway and also just a 20 minute drive to Boulder. The views from the farmhouse are spectacular! Liz was kind enough to let us use the common spaces and we also had a private bathroom. Her pets were very friendly and adorable.
It was a beautiful Colorado ranch property with lots of friendly animals to play with. She was very accommodating and cooked us a nice breakfast in the morning with some fresh eggs from the farm. I highly recommend this property to anyone! The horse farm is beautiful and charming. Liz is very nice. The room is comfortable and would be great for friends. Beautiful area, not too far from Boulder but far enough to experience nature! Liz was extremely friendly and went above and beyond what was expected to make the stay pleasant.
She was so welcoming and made us feel right at home from beginning to end. She was very thorough and gave us easy instructions for checking in, getting settled, etc. The house was very clean and had super cute decorations. We woke up to delicious homemade breakfasts everyday! We also loved getting to meet all the animals.
They really made this a unique and wonderful experience especially the pig, Ziggy! We spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub, which provided nice views of the sunset. We stayed here to hike in Rocky Mountains National Park, but it was really in a central location that would make it ideal for many.
We came as guests and left as friends! Liz is an outstanding host Location is perfect as well. Liz was an amazing host and very accommodating! The farm is beautiful and it felt like home. I would definitely go back! Liz was amazing and I hope I can come back soon! It was absolutely perfect.
Baby and Chris were great. They were responsive hosts but gave us space and made the whole process very easy. Great location and very nice accommodations. Would definately stay again if in the area! Awesome place tucked away in the mountains. So clean, updated, relaxing get away. They even have a bottle of wine waiting for you. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your guest home. Your garden is absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect for our trip.
We loved our stay and days adventuring through Rocky Mountain National Park. Beautiful to have coffee in the garden in the mornings. In the mountains and 30 minutes away from Boulder and Estes park, which was perfect for our trip. Because it was a great secluded location, there were wasps in the area and I'm allergic- so just a warning in case anyone else is.
Host was so so responsive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Barbara and her property are awesome! Our stay was amazing and the farmhouse was even better than we expected not that we had low expectations by any means.
There was much more space than we were prepared for and the fit and finish of the home is great; a perfect blend of timeless character and modern updates.
I anticipated the creek to be further from the house but it was right in the back yard with the sounds coming into the farmhouse through open windows. The incredible view of the sunset was a great backdrop to many conversations outside or inside with the windows open. There were fish in the creek and a shallow swimming hole wide and deep enough to stretch out a little and get your head under.
I immediately fell in love with the character of the house, property, and Lyons in general and can't wait to return soon. If I don't end up with a place of my own nearby, I will absolutely stay with Barbara again.
I'm reluctant to say all of this for concern that I'm exposing a hidden gem but Barbara and the house deserve to be appreciated. Barbara was such a wonderful host!
House was clean and charming with WiFi and TV. Just a short drive to Estes Park or Boulder. Loved this place; it is tiny, but anything is workable if you have a nice bathroom, and it was amazing! So clean and so neatly compact with everything a woman needs.
Could use a few more hooks because girls tend to hang things since there isn't much room to spread out, but it was the tiniest home available after all.
I would definitely stay in Wee Casa again! Perfectly located to everything one would enjoy in Lyons! Location and home were tops! Staff was super friendly and drew me a map to a hiking trail. The town and people were great! The tiny home was awesome - exactly as described, and probably the nicest accommodations you will find in the area.
Even though they are pretty new, they were exceptionally clean. I enjoyed my stay in this Tiny House in Lyons.
The accommodations were really nice, well maintained and fun. The property is unique and beautiful with a surrounding area and town with much to do.
Just minutes from downtown by foot yet secluded. Looking forward to my next stay. We enjoyed the novelty of staying in a tiny house! It's high ceilings made the home feel spacious, and it was well outfitted in terms of kitchen and bath. Lyons was a great home base for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park which is a phenomenal place!
We visited several restaurants, including Oscar Blues brewpub. The host was out of town and I was not at all in contact with a host after check in, although I was invited to reach out if I needed anything. There is no way to have a private conversation on site without closing windows. Property beautiful but 3 nights of stay there were weddings and hard to enjoy property and avoid guests.
Finally, it's in a flood plain evidently the site of a previous trailer park washed away in the floods and not rebuilt and I would not want to be in these houses on wheels if there was a storm. And it seemed really overpriced compared to other air b n bs and the local hotel. It was terribly convenient to town, though, if you didn't mind crossing the major highway which was loud, as well, but had a crosswalk.
I could go almost anywhere--several restaurants, store, grocery, pharmacy, brewery, in a half mile or less. Kenyon was absolutely wonderful. We had an unfortunate circumstance lead to the need of us finding a last minute place to stay and he contacted me within 20 minutes on a holiday. Him and his property manager were very nice and were able to get us right in to one of the tiny homes.
It wasn't the exact one in the description but it was one very similar. I've always seen these houses on HGTV but never in person and it was absolutely perfect for our stay! The home was extremely clean, as if it was brand new! Plenty of windows to open and they supplied fans to keep it cool. I was very surprised on the quality of the beds that they have in the tiny home. They are amazing- memory foam and so comfortable! I am very grateful for Kenyon's hospitality and ability to get us in under such short notice, right away!
We have recommended this place to many other people already! How cool is it to see 20 tiny houses on wheels along one awesome bend in the river? Yeah, it's that awesome. Great to have lost of designers and builders represented, and the location is amazing: The hosts are really welcoming and friendly, and they didn't seem tired of answering lots of tiny house questions. We loved everything about this tiny home community! The location was perfect - on the edge of town near the river so you feel like you're away from it all, yet within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
Everything was very clean, comfortable, and inviting. A very cute and relaxing place to stay! Our stay at Wee Casa was awesome! The grounds are gorgeous, right on the river. The houses are close together but laid out in such a way that you don't feel like you are on top of everyone else.
The common spaces were well placed and it was an easy stroll to walk into town to nice restaurants and coffee shops. The entire experience was idyllic and we will definitely be back! Only drawback was weak wifi, but not a biggie when you are in such a gorgeous place. Everything is new and very tastefully done. Bed was comfy with luscious bedding and a handy coffee maker right in the room.
The view and tranquility are more than I dreamt. The St Vrain is literally steps from your door. Barb was the perfect hostess, helping me with all my needs while I was in town for a music festival. She even provided a toasted English muffin with jam for breakfast. The story about the history of her place is fascinating. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of the flood and marvel at the accomplishment of rebuilding.
She made me feel right at home. Barbara's fishing cottage was perfectly located right near downtown Lyons.
Nice clean place right on the river! A beautiful, quiet setting on the St Vrain River, worth the trip just to sit and walk along the river or walk into the neat old town of Lyons for great food. The cottage is attached to the house and is very cute, cozy, and comfortable! It is next to a river which was very relaxing. The views of the Apple Valley foothills were beautiful! The bathroom was in the garage, but was not a problem for us.
The beds were very cozy and comfortable! There was no AC, so it was a little warm the first night. The 2nd night was very cool, so it was perfect. This a great location to stay if you are traveling back and forth to Estes Park and hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park.
Barbara was very warm and welcoming!! The Burro was a great experience and all the animals on the farm are so friendly and social. I had all the information needed available in the Burro!
The Burro is good value for the price. We had one logistical miscommunication, and she dealt with it appropriately. The street near the Burro was relatively quiet in the small town of Lyons, which has some scenic old for Colorado buildings and a nice feel to it.
Generally a good stay. My fiance and I had a great time staying at the Burrow! Sara and her family were very welcoming and we loved walking amongst all the chickens, ducks and dogs in the morning!
There are so many activities Sara offers on the farm and sleeping in the Burrow was so comfortable! We loved this experience and would recommend to anyone visiting the area. It was the perfect location--so close to the festival grounds!
We arrived earlier in the day so we could become familiar with the space in the daylight and allow the dogs to get to know us! I'd suggest doing that if you think you'll get in late.
We would book this space again if we found ourselves in the area for a night and wanted to "glamp. It was a little tight for the two of us and we're under 5'6". The Burro feels like a true getaway from the nearby city! My husband and I spent a night here and loved getting to know the many farm animals, as well as walking down to the nearby creek for a swim on a hot day.
The Burro itself is quite small, but worked for us well and was a great alternative to camping. Lyons is such a great town, and this is a great option for a night there! This place was quaint and homey. Nice country feel, welcoming hosts, clean environment. Would stay here again for sure! Awesome little place to stay. Sara was a great hostess with a wonderful and welcoming family. The town has a lot of character and we enjoyed walking there from the burro!
What a charming stopover in Lyons! We loved our stay in the Burro. The farm is beautiful and welcoming, and we have a terrific experience. A good place to relax and recharge while traveling west. Mike, our host, was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. You truly feel secluded and away from it all.
The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and we enjoyed having coffee down by the creek in the morning. Would recommend to someone looking for a very quiet and secluded getaway feel.
We loved the fire pit area by the creek, though there was a fire ban so we did not make a fire. Accommodations matches the photos and description. Perfect for our short stay! Perfect cabin for a quick getaway! No service, no tv, no worries. Lyons was cute to explore, easy shot straight to Estes Park too!
Lyons, in her role as a prison reporter for The Huntsville Item, witnessed 38 of them. But her apparent nonchalance, which manifested itself in . Blindfolded petite cuckold wife getting fucked good by a strange new dick while hubby films. Traveling to Colorado my tonneau cover failed. It could not be repaired so I searched the net for a replacement. Of three probable shops, Autoplex thought they might have a cover that would work on my short bed F
