I had Steak Diane, and my daughter had lamb chop her friend a burger. Everything was homemade and delicious. Very reasonable prices will definitely go again! The staff is so nice. Every morning we had breakfast here and were greeted with smiling faces, great food, and a quick cuppa coffee. We had dinner here one night and it was delicious too.
I had the royal breakfast one day and the Belgian Waffles the next day. I loved how light and crispy the waffles were. The staff was very friendly and quick. We also had dinner in the bar from the dinner menu. The Fish and Chips were amazing! So light and tender, Perfect.
The brie and chicken was very tasty. The dinner special, Chicken Marsala! We enjoyed the food here very much. The bar and the bartender were delightful. We wish that we could have been there for karaoke. I live in the neighborhood and never thought it to be much more than a hotel diner until I saw an ad for a one pound burger they have.
I love a good burger and this did not disappoint. They also have some great local craft beer on tap. The servers are always really friendly and make you feel welcome. This place is such a gem. I stumbled in one day driving home. I now drive clear across town twice a month to eat here. They have amazing food with an always changing daily special menu. Very reasonable in price. The staff and cooks make this place one of a kind. I could not begin to choose a favorite dish. I have steak Diane and my daughter had lamb chop her friend a burger.
We thought being on the road this was going to be another crappy on the road meal! We were so wrong Matt the bartender is great we ate at the bar had a blast…. Dinner was Stake Diane and then Christmas on a plate for dessert sweet potato cheesecake and a great cup of coffee.
I guess the majority of customers are from the nearby hotel which is a shame. People are missing out. I would guess most of their customers are from the adjacent Best Western Hotel of which we stayed. Good food at good prices and very friendly and efficient service. Besides the regular menu items, they also make the efforts to have daily specials.
The two-for-one drinks coupons are good here. We enjoyed the house wine. The service is fast and friendly. Out of the dozen or so times I have eaten here, as well as an occasional evening cocktail, I have never been disappointed. The menu is well diversified, the staff is friendly and happy, I even heard singing from the kitchen staff. On our first visit we had rib eye steak, and on the second I had Tuna steak and my wife had the Chicken warped with prosciutto.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this experience a 9. If you want to do yourself a favor and treat yourself to 4 star cuisine, at a 2 star price you must dine at this restaurant, I can guarantee that if you try it once, you will return. Two days after the race I was looking for where my next one would be. I guess you can say I am still hooked. I have learned so much from everyone in TTG. Amy Orchard is a beast on the bike, Robin Kremer kills it in the swim, and Donna Pierson is an inspiration for the run! I am thankful to have TTG as my support group. How did I get started in Triathlon?
That was the first time I saw women in purple cheering us on!! You swim, you bike, you run. You can do this! Mostly, I was a runner. I did a few half and full marathons after I moved to Tucson, qualified for Boston, but could never get away. I have run the Colossal Cave 8-mile trail race for the past five years, including this year. Most events I do is because people I get to know are involved in it. I rode a few Tour de Tucson, including the full and a couple of 67 mile rides.
I met my weight trainer from recommendations, and have been with him for what seems like forever. He encouraged me to do a body building show, and I did a few of those. I mean I pretty much do anything people think I can do. I heard about Robyn Kramer and started with an Excel group with plans of doing Santa Rosa half iron in , as I age-grouped up. That fell through due to work and an injury, but I enjoyed the training and people. So, I kept at it over the summer.
I now have a few sprints and olympics under my belt Patagonia in and Deuces Wild in I did not start triathlons ever thinking I would win anything, but once I did, I took it a bit more seriously than I planned. Yes, I have a competitive streak, working hard to get stronger and faster. Learning transitions, nutrition are still a work in progress. I really like the training for a triathlon. Not just one sport at a time, so it keeps me healthier overall.
Weight lifting helps, too, so I can still run without knee problems other things hurt, but massage every other week helps work those out - until the next workout.
I figure racing in wine country is probably the place to do your first half iron. I am always encouraged by the folks at TTG, and friends and coaches who keep me sane. If I had to do this on my own, it would not be any fun at all!! We are so lucky to have a triathlon group for women. I have met so many wonderful people through this group. My name is Lupita Hernandez. My hobbies and interests include raising, buying and selling farm animals.
I also enjoy reading, talking on the phone and gardening. After graduating from the University of Arizona one of my former professors began running with me. I wanted to know more and that week I too became a Tucson Tri Girl!!! The first triathlon I did was the Shyann Kindness Tri for Acts of Kindness in September of last year and triathlons became addictive to me. I met Coach Robin who guided me in other triathlons. One of the things I have loved the most about being a Tri Girl is the friends I have made.
Now I have planned races for the rest of the year and already have so many people willing to run with me or captain for tandem bike rides. Having that social network is so important and inspiring as well as motivating. There is so much to be said about being part of a team where your friends are with you to celebrate in your accomplishments and allow you to celebrate their accomplishments. My team allows me not just to run on a treadmill or ride on a stationary bike.
I always have someone by my side and that means the world to me so that we can encourage each other. I am getting ready to have my first open water swim in a couple of weeks and am thrilled that a few adaptations such as tethers and the tandem bike allow me to be in the same sports as my friends. I am a rather private person and do not like to be singled out as a blind participant of an event have never wanted my being completely blind to make me stand out in any way.
I just love being Lupita, the Tri Girl that does triathlons with her team. To commemorate the Tucson Tri Girls 15th year as a club, we have released a special cycling jersey. The jersey is now available for purchase! We will have the jersey available through the end of the year.

Do you see more Half Ironmans in your future? Yes, I would like to travel somewhere new with cool temperature and nice scenery. Even children in real life are like that nowadays. A couple of episodes like family album and kisses and beads are below my expectations. Nevertheless, the show had potential Now I have to use the past tense!
I enjoyed the feisty exchange between Angela and Ron very much. The dialogs are well-written. And Sarayu is super. No doubt, hands down, she is a winner. It is sad that the network did not care to give it a fair chance. After watching all the episodes, I have to say this. I am a big fan of Sarayu. She has bright future.
Looking forward to seeing more of Sarayu. Start your free trial. Find showtimes, watch trailers, browse photos, track your Watchlist and rate your favorite movies and TV shows on your phone or tablet! Keep track of everything you watch; tell your friends.
